We are a British based unit of an International Organisation called The Legion of Frontiersmen. They are based in London and are an established charity organisation over 100 years old their patron is the Countess Mountbatten of Burma. Our parent regiment is 4th Canadian Parachute Battalion based in Canada.

To establish a highly trained and mobile rescue aid unit to assist the local authority

Most of us are ex-Para’s, or service trained.   Highly trained in our day, from infantry units to the support arms i.e.: -Combat Engineers, Medics, Logistics, Catering Corps, Heavy Drop etc, etc. What happens when these highly trained men leave the armed forces? The answer is, all these skills are lost to civilian life, and there are thousands of such men out there.

The equipment is still out there, in the case of Combat Engineers, equipment such as water supply units, air portable generators, air portable plant, bridges etc.  A lot of such equipment from the 70's & 80's that has been mothballed or superseded by more modern kit. This is the type of equipment that thousands of ex servicemen know and can use.  These men have a wealth of knowledge & experience.

In the first instance we need volunteers, who would be willing to help in setting this up, whether in a training role or a parachuting role or even in an admin role.   We can also arrange a fully recognised Parachute Course.  This course will allow the candidate to qualify or re-qualify and have full jump capability. We also need engineering kit & plant & medical equipment etc, what we also need is SPONSORSHIP & DONATIONS. Everything & anything will help,
